New pictures of our baby girl!

Our agency director arrived in Ethiopia today and her first stop was Miskaye, the orphanage that serves as home to our beautiful daughter Addis.

I am awestruck just looking at her.  In my humble opinion, she is stunning.

How about that hair!  I am clearly going to have to come to terms with my dislike for lotions and creams.  I think taking care of that head of hair is going to be a chore, but a chore that I am willing to tackle.

  1. Carol's Daughters Hair Milk... LOVE IT! Also, Olive Oil shampoo and mousse (bought at Walmart, Kroger, Meijer) is excellent for keeping the curls long and separate, rather than matted together. It's been fun to learn to do the hair. I've got a LONG way to go, but I'm getting there:) She is beautiful!

  3. Dear Sara and Matt,

You might not need my opinion, but I want to share it with you. Your girl is wonderful and sooooooooooooo very beautiful! The hair is not a problem, there in the States you will find the way how to keep it curly or straight. The main thing is that she is yours now. I am soooooooooooo happy for you! Good luck! Svetlana
