Our new court date is May 21.
Our fingers are crossed, but our expectations are not high.
Ethiopian elections are taking place on May 23. There was quite a bit of civil unrest following the last elections, so our fear is that with our court date being so close to the election, our case may be postponed until after the vote has been taken.
Hopefully that fear is unfounded and we become Baby Sister's parents in less than 2 weeks.
Good news. I was crushed to hear that court did not pass last week. I will be thinking about you in the next few weeks! Stay strong. We love you guys :)
