One of Parker's assignments for Kindergarten this year was to memorize his phone number, address, birthday, and a few other important items (he passed with flying colors).
Because we don't have a home phone, I had him just memorize my cell phone number.
This morning on the way to school he was reciting my phone number to me when he asked what his mommy's phone number was. I told him that he didn't have to memorize that just yet.
But he was persistent about wanting to know her number as well, so I asked him why he felt that he needed to commit both of our numbers to memory.
His answer: So he can call both of us when he goes away to college.
